This recognition is awarded to hospitals for their exceptional performance in patient safety and quality of care. > New to Leapfrog this year is the “Straight A” designation, given to hospitals who have received an “A” grade for five or more grading rounds. Mills-Peninsula Medical Center received this recognition, earning an “A” from Leapfrog since spring 2023. Across the nation, only 12% of all eligible hospitals earned this designation. “This recognition is a reflection of the dedication and hard work of our care teams, who strive every day to ensure the highest standards of care,” said William Isenberg, M.D., vice president and chief medical & quality officer at Sutter Health. “We appreciate The Leapfrog Group for recognizing our unwavering commitment to patient safety.
