Thomas** “The Bond BHCIP funding awards are a critical step forward in addressing California’s growing mental health needs. The grant awards Sutter Health received in this round of funding will help accelerate the important and innovative work we have underway across Northern California to expand access to innovative care and build a more connected behavioral health system. This funding supports our broader systemwide strategy to increase access to behavioral health care by expanding inpatient treatment capacity, improving crisis response, and strengthening care coordination. At the same time, we continue to invest in outpatient and community-based services—work that complements these projects and helps connect patients to care earlier and outside of emergency settings.
