Becker’s Hospital Review has recognized Sutter Health Chief Strategy and Growth Officer Cynthia Lee as one of 70 Chief Strategy Officers to Know for 2024, honoring her vision and leadership in shaping access to healthcare across Northern California.

“I’m grateful to be named among such accomplished healthcare leaders and incredibly honored to work alongside such talented and dedicated colleagues,” said Lee. “From frontline caregivers to leadership, every person at Sutter Health plays a role in ensuring more patients have access to high-quality care. Our strategy—from every new region we serve to every partnership we form—is about one thing: bringing high-quality care to more people who need it.”

During Lee’s tenure, Sutter Health has expanded its geographic footprint and patient reach, including a newly announced transformational plan to expand access to its comprehensive and high-quality care for the East Bay Area region and a 2023 partnership with Sansum Clinic, which anchors Sutter’s work to increase access for new patients along California’s Central Coast.
