Eight Sutter Surgery Center Division ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) have been listed among Newsweek magazine’s Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers for 2023. The following Sutter ASCs have been recognized this year:

PAMF Surgery Center, Fremont
PAMF Surgery Center, Mountain View
PAMF Surgery Center, Palo Alto
PAMF Surgery Center, San Carlos
Santa Barbara Endoscopy Center
Sutter Roseville Endoscopy Center
Sutter Sierra Surgery Center
Newsweek partnered with research firm Statista to survey ASC staff, physicians, and leaders. They evaluated more than 5,000 Medicare-certified surgery centers, but just the top 510 centers in the 25 states with the most facilities made the list.
Newsweek’s experts and survey participants ranked ASCs based on quality of care, performance data and peer recommendations relative to in-state competition. They also reviewed facilities’ COVID-19 response.
