Sutter Health names Jonathan Ma, VP of Strategic Finance and Treasurer, to serve as interim Chief Financial Officer with the departure of Raju Iyer for personal reasons. Ma will serve as interim CFO while Sutter conducts a national search.
Ma, who joined Sutter in 2019, oversees Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasury, playing a key role in executing on Sutter’s plans to expand access to comprehensive, high-quality care across the not-for-profit integrated health system. He also manages the organization’s relationships with bond rating agencies and institutional investors and helps lead oversight of capital allocation and the organization’s investment portfolios.
Ma is well respected for his leadership and strategic approach and will be a steady force as he helps guide financial operations and continues to steward the organization’s finances.
During his time at Sutter Health, Iyer contributed to key financial projects and initiatives that supported the organization’s strategy and operational priorities, and we thank him for his contributions.
