Four Sutter medical groups were recently recognized by the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) for delivering high-quality care and exceptional patient experience during the 2023 measurement year of IHA’s Align. Measure. Perform. program, focused on Commercial HMO patients.
“Sutter Health is unwavering in its commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to the communities we proudly serve,” said William Isenberg, M.D., Sutter Health Chief Medical and Quality Officer. “This recognition by the Integrated Healthcare Association reflects the dedication of our teams who consistently prioritize our patients’ well-being and strive to exceed expectations in every aspect of care.”
In existence since 2003, the Align. Measure. Perform. program gives provider organizations a complete picture of their quality, patient experience ratings and resource use, to encourage ongoing improvement. Unique to California, the program collects standardized data from over 200 provider organizations to create reliable performance scores. This commitment to consistency has another benefit too: top performers can be publicly recognized annually.

About IHA’s AMP programs
IHA’s Align. Measure. Perform. (AMP) programs use a fair and transparent approach to measurement and benchmarking to create a reliable assessment of performance for medical groups, and IPAs across health plans. The AMP programs are recognized nationally for partnering with organizations across California and the nation to drive meaningful changes that reduce costs and improve healthcare quality and outcomes. Paired with the insights from IHA’s California Regional Health Care Cost & Quality Atlas, the AMP programs help partners reduce the reporting burden for payers and providers by using a standard measure set to deliver objective data and analysis that support performance improvement.
