USN&WR Best Nursing Homes badgeSutter’s CPMC Davies Campus has long been known for helping patients recover mobility, strength and independence following hospitalizations for illness, surgery or injury. Its short-term rehabilitation program integrates personalized physical, occupational and speech therapy with attentive nursing care, helping ensure patients receive coordinated support that aligns with their recovery goals and helps them transition safely back home.

“At Davies Campus, we are committed to delivering innovative, high-quality rehabilitation care that meets each patient’s needs,” said Hollie Seeley, hospital CEO. “Being named a Best Nursing Home/Skilled Nursing for short-term rehabilitation is a testament to our ongoing focus on patient-centered recovery and clinical excellence.”

The U.S. News recognition is based on rigorous assessments of patient outcomes and quality indicators, including hospital readmission rates, staffing levels, health inspections and clinical expertise. Fewer than 19% of nursing homes evaluated nationwide earned the Best Nursing Home/Skilled Nursing distinction in 2026. CPMC Davies achieved an overall 5 out of 5 rating – the highest possible score – and is recognized as one of the 44 Best Nursing Homes/Skilled Nursing facilities in the San Francisco–Oakland metro area, which includes Fremont, Calif.

“Our team at Davies Campus is dedicated to putting patients first, ensuring that every individual receives the right therapy, at the right time, in a supportive environment,” said Mira El-Katcha, therapy manager. “This recognition highlights the skill, compassion and coordination our staff brings to every patient’s recovery journey.”

U.S. News’ 2026 ratings feature an updated methodology, expanding both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care assessments to 17 quality measures each, offering families comprehensive data when selecting the best care options.
