Northern Calif. — Sutter Health today announced the appointment of two members to its Board of Directors, adding Glenn Boehnlein, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Stryker, a medical device company, and Harmit Singh, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial and Growth Officer of Levi Strauss and Co. The two new members began their terms on April 1, 2025.
“As healthcare experiences rapid, transformative change, Glenn and Harmit bring valuable new perspective and deep expertise in finance, strategy and innovation to the Sutter Health Board. They are proven visionary leaders, and we look forward to their contributions,” said Ken McNeely, Sutter Health Board Chair.

Glenn Boehnlein
Glenn Boehnlein retired April 1 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Stryker, a leading medical device company with over 53,000 employees and 2024 revenues of $22.6 billion.
Boehnlein has more than 30 years of global experience in the medical device and public accounting industries, and he led Stryker’s finance and information technology functions, driving performance and innovation for the organization. He had responsibility for corporate accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, and internal audit functions. His additional areas of emphasis include investor relations, business development, and strategic planning. Glenn also served as the executive sponsor for Stryker’s largest employee resource group, Stryker Women’s Network, with over 10,000 members around the world.
He joined Stryker in 2003 as Vice President of Finance and Information Technology for Stryker’s Endoscopy Division. He then took on positions of increasing responsibility including Group CFO of MedSurg and Neurotechnology. He became Stryker’s CFO in 2016, and his role expanded in January 2020 to include overseeing global information technology.
Prior to joining Stryker, Boehnlein spent three years as CFO of Success TV, a start-up multimedia company where he established a financial framework for television and internet operations. Success TV partnered with PBS producers to develop operational and financial models for several productions, including the “Great Leaders” series. Previously, he was a partner and certified public accountant at Arthur Andersen.
Boehnlein is currently serving on the Board and is Chairman of the Audit Committee of Inogen, Inc.(INGN), a medical device company focusing on respiratory health solutions.
Boehnlein received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Mississippi State University, and executive education degrees from Northwestern and Harvard Universities. He is a member of CNBC CFO Council.

Harmit Singh
Harmit Singh is Executive Vice President & Chief Financial and Growth Officer of Levi Strauss & Co., headquartered in San Francisco. In addition to his CFO and Growth Officer responsibilities, his role has expanded to include oversight of transformation initiatives and creation of the company’s global talent hubs to guide the company toward its vision to be the best apparel company in the world.
Singh is also responsible for leading Levi Strauss’ investor relations, information security, strategic sourcing, real estate expansion, mergers, acquisitions and divestures. He also leads the company’s global productivity initiative, with an emphasis on improving its structural economics to drive both growth and profitability.
Previously, Singh was Executive Vice president and CFO of Hyatt Hotels Corporation from 2008 to 2012. There, he managed finance, accounting, treasury, strategic financial planning and analysis, tax, risk management, information technology, internal audit and investor relations for a $3.7 billion operation with nearly 500 hotels in 45 countries.
Prior to that, he spent 14 years at Yum! Brands Inc. in a variety of global leadership roles, including Senior Vice President and CFO of Yum Restaurants International. In these roles he led finance, M&A, supply chain and technology functions. Before joining Yum!, Singh worked in various financial capacities for American Express India & Area Countries.
Singh is on the board of directors and the compensation committee of The Azek Company, and has served on the board of directors and the audit committee chair of Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. He also served on the board of directors and the audit committee of OpenText Corporation.
Singh was awarded with the Larkin Street 2023 Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award, given to CFOs whose contributions have significantly and uniquely impacted the San Francisco Bay Area business community. He is a member of the CNBC Global CFO Council, and a member of the Wall Street Journal CFO Network.
Singh received his bachelor’s degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce and is a chartered accountant through The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, where he is a frequent speaker on turnarounds and business transformation.
