Ten hospital campuses in Sutter Health’s not-for-profit system received recognition today as among America’s Best Hospitals for 2024 by Healthgrades. Sutter hospitals earning awards from Healthgrades include:
- Sutter Alta Bates Summit Medical Center – Alta Bates campus named among America’s 100 Best Hospitals for overall clinical quality, critical care, joint replacement and gastrointestinal care.
- Sutter Alta Bates Summit Medical Center – Summit campus named among America’s 50 Best Hospitals for overall clinical quality and one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for critical care, gastrointestinal care and gastrointestinal surgery.
- Sutter California Pacific Medical Center – Van Ness campus named among America’s 100 Best Hospitals for cardiac care and coronary intervention, and among America’s 250 Best Hospitals for overall clinical quality.
- Sutter Eden Medical Center named among America’s 100 Best for Hospitals for critical care.
- Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento named among America’s 100 Best Hospitals for spine surgery, prostate surgery and gastrointestinal surgery.
- Sutter Memorial Medical Center named among America’s 50 Best Hospitals for overall clinical quality and vascular surgery, and one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for critical care and coronary intervention.
- Sutter Mills-Peninsula Medical Center named among America’s 50 Best Hospitals for overall clinical quality and among America’s 100 Best Hospitals for critical care, heart attack and heart failure care.
- Sutter Novato Community Hospital named among America’s 100 Best Hospitals for joint replacement.
- Sutter Roseville Medical Center named among America’s 50 Best Hospitals for overall clinical quality and among America’s 100 Best Hospitals for critical care and prostate surgery.
- Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital named among America’s 250 Best Hospitals for overall clinical quality.
To determine the top hospitals for 2024, Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for more than 30 conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide. Unlike other hospital studies, Healthgrades ratings are based solely on patient outcomes. All America’s Best Hospitals have outcomes in the top 5% of the country.
