National recognition for prostate care is putting a spotlight on the expert teams caring for men across Sutter Health — and highlighting the importance of early detection during Men’s Health Awareness Month.
Observed each June, Men’s Health Awareness Month shines a light on the importance of preventive care, healthy habits and regular conversations with a trusted care team. According to the CDC, men are less likely to seek routine care, even though many serious conditions are more treatable when caught early. That is especially true for prostate-related conditions, where awareness, screening discussions and access to expert care can help men act sooner and with greater confidence.
“Healthgrades celebrates the extraordinary dedication, expertise and compassion Sutter care teams bring to patients every day,” said Dr. William Isenberg, chief medical and quality officer, Sutter Health. “We are proud to see their work honored by Healthgrades, and even more proud of the difference they make for men and families across the communities we serve.”
These honors reflect the expertise of Sutter teams delivering specialized care close to home — and reinforce a simple message: don’t wait. A simple conversation today with a care team and staying up to date on screenings can help protect long-term health tomorrow.
