Awards Bring Attention to Sutter’s Excellence in Prostate Care

National recognition for prostate care is putting a spotlight on the expert teams caring for men across Sutter Health — and highlighting the importance of early detection during Men’s Health Awareness Month.

Observed each June, Men’s Health Awareness Month shines a light on the importance of preventive care, healthy habits and regular conversations with a trusted care team. According to the CDC, men are less likely to seek routine care, even though many serious conditions are more treatable when caught early. That is especially true for prostate-related conditions, where awareness, screening discussions and access to expert care can help men act sooner and with greater confidence.
