Graphic Sutter Health Expands to Patients 65+

Across the Sutter Health integrated network of care, we’ve rolled up our sleeves so more patients can roll up theirs. Sutter has worked to quickly expand our existing network of COVID-19 vaccine clinics by opening large-scale vaccination sites in Modesto, Roseville, Sacramento, Santa Cruz, and Santa Rosa. We look forward to continued expansion in the coming weeks as more doses arrive.

Here’s Who We’re Vaccinating

Through our expanded capacity and in line with our continued commitment to vaccinating our most vulnerable patients, we are pleased to expand vaccination to those aged 65 and up, and continue vaccinating our community healthcare workers. These populations are at greatest risk, according to CDC guidance. While we look forward to the day when anyone who wants a vaccine can get one, the reality is that our ability to offer appointments remains dependent on vaccine supply from the state.

Appointment Scheduling

Vaccination is by appointment only and there are no walk-ins. Eligible patients can schedule an appointment by phone or online. The details are on our website: www.sutterhealth.org/covid-vaccine.

We’re doing everything we can to meet demand, but we expect wait times on our phone scheduling line will remain high. Not everyone who is eligible will be able to make an appointment right away. We appreciate patience and understanding while we work hard to accommodate the significant anticipated demand.

Where We Stand Today

Sutter shares in the excitement and hope that comes with the COVID-19 vaccine and is proud to be doing its part to help end this pandemic.

Masking, physical distancing, hand washing and avoiding larger gatherings continue to be critical tools in preventing transmission.
