Families in the South Bay will soon have expanded access to high-quality pediatric specialty care with Sutter Health’s lease of a new facility in Campbell, California. The new pediatric center, located in an office suite at 900 East Hamilton Avenue, will replace the existing site at 2577 Samaritan Drive in San Jose, offering more space and a broader range of services. The lease for the new facility is set to begin on May 1, 2025, with operations slated to begin later this year.

The new site spans nearly 11,000 square feet and will feature eight exam rooms, four consultation rooms, and three treatment rooms equipped for medical tests including Pediatric and Fetal echocardiograms and electroencephalograms (EEG’s). Additionally, the facility is designed with two dedicated playrooms to support developmental and behavioral pediatrics.

“We are thrilled to open this new pediatric facility in Sutter Health’s Greater Silicon Valley Division,” said Dr. Mark Koukkari, Pediatric Neurologist and Medical Director of Pediatric Specialties in the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group, a multispecialty medical group that provides physician services to Sutter patients in the Silicon Valley area. “This marks a significant step in our commitment to providing exceptional, compassionate care to our youngest patients.”

“By bringing together multiple pediatric specialties under one roof, we’re creating a more collaborative and convenient experience for families to not only meet the growing healthcare needs of our community, but also to enhance the positive impact we have on the lives of families,” said Catherine Krna, Ambulatory CEO of Sutter Health’s Greater Silicon Valley Division. “By offering advanced care in a child-friendly environment, we continue to invest in the health and well-being of the communities we serve, ensuring that quality healthcare is accessible to all.”

The center will house seven pediatric specialties, including:

• Pediatric Cardiology
• Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics
• Pediatric Endocrinology
• Pediatric Gastroenterology
• Pediatric Hematology
• Pediatric Neurology
• Pediatric Neuropsychology

The new site, less than four miles from the existing San Jose location, will improve accessibility and provide a more spacious, state-of-the-art environment for pediatric patients.
